YOUR JUDGES:

:iconmirchuchu::iconlulzyrobot::iconclickmon::iconfastanddelicious::iconwingednovelist:

RULES:

General Rules

-  Respect. This is extremely important! Respect other competitors, your judges, your host, and yourself.

- Please make your dramatic matters private. Keep things civil, any reported harassment will result in immediate disqualification.

- Tag teams are allowed in regards to teams of two artists working together, or a writer and artist. Written entries will not be accepted.

Character Rules

Almost any character will be accepted, with a few exceptions:
- No fancharacters. Any franchise character will be turned down immediately, unless it is your own franchise.

- No God-mods/Mary Sues/Gary Sues. This means, no over-powered characters. Play fair.

- Characters of any type are allowed as long they are reasonable, this means any species/race is allowed, even ones that you make up!  So you are your own limitation.

- Up to two characters per team is allowed. Two fighters, a fighter and a tag-along, or one character with two personalities.

Reference Sheet Info

Reference sheets must be:
- In full color

- Have a full body drawing of the character(s) front and back.

- Include drawings of important items: weapons, keepsakes, etc.

- If your reference sheet is information heavy, it is strongly advised to use easy to read fonts or to organize the information in the artist’s comments instead.

- If you have two characters, they can be on the same or separate sheet.

- Please provide general information about your character(s): height, weight, age, personality, abilities, weaknesses, etc.

Audition Rules

- Comics, Animations, and Flash Comics are accepted.

- SEND YOUR AUDITION AND REFERENCE TO THE GROUP IN A NOTE. This will help us keep track of people more easily and get things set up much faster!

- Show you character entering the city, how and why is up to you.

- Please be patient and wait until we are open to send in your auditions and references.

Battles/Entries

- Be respectful to your opponent.

- What we're looking for: Story, Composition, Creativity. You want to impress your judges, compel them, make them want to see more of your OCs story!

- Death is not necessary to pass a round, we are not judging based on gore. Again, the judges want creativity.

- If you want to kill your opponent's character you need your opponent's permission first. Not asking may result in some drama, we don't like drama.

I looked around the FAQs and rules, so I hope I'm not missing something obvious when I say this.. but what do spectators actually do? Like what kind of things do 'spectator' comics entail?
